Nike’s first US factory in Exeter, New Hampshire, used local vendors’ excess production waste to create sneakers with unique colors and materials. This approach was reignited for a modern sustainability strategy where a combination of excess inventory,100% recycled materials and Nike Grind were used to create a seasonal collections. Left Over. Made Right.
The initiative involved successful partnerships across the enterprise, from supply chain, to our vendor base as well as demand planning, product management, merchandising, design and development.
