Airmax 1 NYC Chinatown
A special edition Air Max 1 to honor Lunar New Year and the deep roots of NYC’s Chinatown.
Inspired by the neighborhood’s energy at night; it’s cultural icons, electric color and dimensional textures reflecting off alleys and streets.

Neon shop signs and bustling storefronts inspired the palette, mirroring the electric glow of the streets. A Chollima—mythical winged horse and symbol of movement—graces the heel, while “Nike” in Chinese characters on the tongue honors the cultural pride and heritage woven into the neighborhood.
