Somos eternos

A culturally grounded collection celebrating Día de Muertos through the lens of Mexico City and its surrounding communities. Weaving hyperlocal insights and cultural traditions into a rich product narrative through chapters. 

“Somos Eternos” translates to “we are eternal,” always staying connected to our loved ones in life and death.

Paired with a hoodie and graphic tee, each chapter uses one footwear model as it's canvas, telling a visual story celebrating life, joy at life's end and emracing mortality. Common phrases of the celebration describe each chapter and are printed on the sockliners as well as the shoe box tissue. Color, material and graphic stories were curated to represent each chapter and journey of the LatinX community.
